Hornets Beat
Now I know sports journalists like to keep their language as spry and bouncy as Chris Paul's footwork, but I don't think "Hornets Beat" is the right title for nola.com's hornet's blog. Yaddida mean? Especially after games like last night's; nobody wants to see a poor performance advertised with such empty-brained enthusiasm the next day! As though that outcome is expected. "Hornets Beat" duhhh, pour me some coffee. Now "Saints Beat" I can see...no, just playing.

Good call, but obviously hornets247 is the destination for all those in the know about blogging and the nba. I like that you're playing with the English language's funny mixups, but I don't like that you didn't find a hilarious or incredibly inspiring (perspiring?) picture to accompany said text.
Why isn't Matt Davis a featured contributor on your blog; does he have one, and are there incriminating childhood photos on it?
